Coldfiles

This Policy describes what data the Coldfiles application (the "App") processes and how it is used.

What data we process

Anonymous device identifier — randomly generated on first launch and used only to save your game progress. It is not linked to your real identity.
Gameplay activity — messages in chats with in-game characters and case progress. This data is required for the game logic to work.

What we do NOT collect

We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or other personal information to use the App.
We do not use advertising trackers and do not sell data to third parties.

Message processing

The text you send to in-game characters is transmitted to our server and to a third-party response-generation service (an LLM provider) to produce the characters' replies. Please do not share real personal or sensitive information in chats.

Storage and deletion

Game progress data is stored for as long as the App is installed. To request deletion of data associated with your device, email us at bgloddev@gmail.com.

Children

The App is not intended for individuals below the age required in your region and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available at this address.
